A recent report from the Audit Bureau of Circulation shows that newspaper publishers definitely believe that they will still be printing newspapers in five years.
I agree that they still will be printing in five years. They just can’t sell those presses and there are enough people who are in the habit of holding a newspaper every day and are willing to pay for it to keep the paperboys on the street.
Other parts of the study are interesting too as the publishers also believe that mobile will have a major impact on their business within the next three years. And, more than half of the newspapers today publish a mobile online edition.
