Newspapers Say Newspapers Still Work

The Newspaper Association of America just announced a new study that indicates newspapers are a great place for advertisers to spend their money.

Here’s a chart that puts newspapers above all other mediums for consumers to check advertising.

I’ve watched newspaper readership fall dramatically in the last several years and we’ve seen several go out of business so I’m a little skeptical of this report.  It could be that they’re asking about checking advertising and not about purchasing a product that makes this come out so well for newspapers.  It’s really not worth arguing about since no one is saying newspapers are dead nor is it the only medium we should be using.
